AAXA P2 - Great Art Projector
AAXA's P2 is the best art projector I've used. For that application, it deserves five stars. With the P2 positioned over my desk, I can essentially turn my entire drafting table surface into a computer screen. The P2's 33 lumens are bright enough for a satisfactory image with room lights on. Like any other projector, the image needs to be shaded from sunlight, but the room does not need to be dark.The P2 is generally marketed for business/PowerPoint presentations. Any shortcomings there are likely due to variable environments, but the projector is terrific in a controlled studio. I've used an inexpensive microphone stand to suspend the P2 over my work table. I wrapped black electrician's tape around the mini-tripod's legs for a secure attachment to the end of the microphone boom. The P2 can be pointed straight down toward a flat table or angled to match the tilt of a slanted drawing board. At 30 inches over the table it projects a bright 15x12 inch image with room lights...

Does a good job
After much research I settled down with this projector as it is the brightest pico project in the market as of now. I should say it does a good job and is as advertised. I bought this one for entertainment - watching moves mainly and I am not disappointed with itHere are some pros and consPros:1. Really a small wonder2. Glows in dark and I would stress the word dark3. I was able to produce a 12-feet diagonal screen - really a big one with decent quality.4. Has built in memory - 1 GB5. Comes with VGA cable, remote and tripod6. Long lamp lifeCons:1. Loud fan noise2. Battery stays on just for 35 mins3. Needs a PERFECT dark room for good quality image.4. Just get it!!!
My first written review on amazon. I have benefitted so much from the amazon communities reviews that I felt compelled to return the favor. Just got this projector as a early Christmas present. Opened it immediately, hooked it up my standard DVD (component) player and wow. Let me give you a little background about me so you can rate my wow factor. I am a technophobe with little money. So i read and research things to the nth degree but rarely buy anything. I have been researching pico projectors for over 6 months. Our family doesn't watch much tv hence we have a 14" Toshiba non-hdtv as the family tv. I know shame on me but enough of the ridicule, lets move on. We have cable tv but only one show is watched if you know what I mean. With four girls all under 14, its all about the Disney channel. Now back to the P2. Over freaking joyed
I am in MOB station in Ft. Hood Tx. On the way to Iraq. Space is the most valuable commodity we have. After shopping for about 2 weeks I finally decided on this little projector for gaming and movie night on deployment. After opening the box this afternoon at about 1800 with the Tx afternoon sun shining through the windows at us I and about 5 other guys started watching 300 on the barracks wall. It wasn't perfect but we could see pretty good on a well lit room. The projector was about 4 or 5 feet from the wall making a picture about the same diagonal size. It was good enough for a bunch of army aviators to enjoy. As the sun crept down the size of our group grew to about 10 and Happy Gilmore was next. The picture was great. I can think of no downside to this purchase. It's convenient to carry and store, great picture and brighter than I expected. The sound is not what I bought it for, the speakers are weak but what did you expect? It's a lot to offer in a small package. I bought a good...

Reasonable product with good/responsive service

I got this projector for my husband because he loves watching movies on his iPhone. He can just plug it in and watch anything off his phone and it's great to just look at pictures too. It's so small, a little bigger than an iPhone. It's a great product and I'd sure recommend it.

It get's warm!
I bought this product from another web site. First I got a broken item with plug ports missing in the bottom. The web site quickly offered me a return. I received the new product and it seemed to function as advertised. In other reviews I read, they were impressed with how bright the picture is. I have to agree. In a dark room or even a room that has partial ambient light that cannot be turned off, it still has a good picture. The reason for the lower review is because the unit does get warm. It has a small cooling fan installed that for me, only seems to operate when the unit is first turned on and remains cool. As the unit starts to warm up the fan seems to stop working and then the picture starts to degrade. I found out that if I apply an external fan and blow it towards the vents of the unit, the picture clears up and greatly reatains its brightness and sharpness. I also noticed that if the unit is turned upside down, then the small cooling fan begins to work and will stay on and...

Great Gift for my Nephew
I am pretty familiar with Pico Projectors and have followed them for the past few years. I have owned a few of them and the specs on this provided the most value for the price. My nephew has a ipod that he watches videos from all the time so I figured I'd give him something bigger to look at so possibly save his eyes. Now he can watch a much larger image and although this projector. He enjoys watching his videos much more on this projector than the 3" screen he normally watches on.I'd recommend this product for anyone interested in pico projectors. With 50 lumens and a full HDMI this projector is really easy to use with basically any devices. I hooked it up to my PS3 to watch a blu-ray and in the dark I was able to achieve 80".

Impressive, Tiny - Portable - Quiet
I'm a tech guy and have tons of media on all sorts of platforms. I found this through a friend of mine who suggested I purchase one to help me better view my media. HDMI and VGA really did it for me - being able to quickly and easily view movies and pictures off my phone and view stuff on my PC was pretty impressive. It's cheap too, and comes with a bunch of accessories and a remote control. Give it a whirl I'm sure it'll satisfy your needs.

GREAT I MEAN REALLY GREAT
This is a wonderful projector but understand what it is for and you should be very happy. Here is what you should not expect from this projector or any small projector. A super clear and bright picture in a room with a lot of light. That will not happen with one of these projectors. With that said what you can expect is a really surprisingly bright clear projection in a dim or dark room. I did a lot of research on these projectors and this was not my first choice. I bought the as it just seemed like it would be the best choice, it was laser it auto focused. In reality, this was a cool projector but the projected image looked so phony and you could see little sparkles of red blue and green constantly on the image.
